INTEGRATED PLANNING ACT 1997 - SECT 1.4.2

1.4.2 Lawful uses of premises protected

(1) Subsection (2) applies if immediately before the commencement of a planning instrument or an amendment of a planning instrument the use of premises was a lawful use of the premises.

(2) Neither the instrument nor the amendment can--

(a) stop the use from continuing; or
(b) further regulate the use; or
(c) require the use to be changed.
