HEALTH PRACTITIONERS (PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS) ACT 1999 - SECT 55

55 Notice to be given if complaint rejected

(1) If a board decides to reject a complaint under section 54, the board must, within 14 days of making its decision, give written notice of its decision--

(a) to the complainant; and
(b) to the registrant; and
(c) to the commission.

(2) The notice must--

(a) for the registrant's notice--state the nature of the complaint; and
(b) state the reasons for the board's decision.

(3) However, the board need not give the registrant the notice if the board reasonably believes doing so may--

(a) place at risk the wellbeing of vulnerable persons; or
(b) place the complainant or another person at risk of harassment or intimidation.
