51 Power to demand rental payments
(1) The interim manager may give a notice, in the approved form, to the tenant
under a relevant agreement, requiring the tenant to pay to the manager a
rental payment due to the funded ancillary provider under the agreement.
(2)
On the making of a requirement under subsection (1) , a requirement under the
relevant agreement to make the rental payment to the funded ancillary provider
is taken to be a requirement to make the payment to the manager.
(3) The
manager may require the payment of amounts under subsection (1) only to the
extent the manager reasonably requires to carry out the manager’s function.
(4) The manager may apply an amount received under this section only in
carrying out the manager’s function.
(5) If the manager stops being
satisfied an amount received under this section is needed to carry out the
manager’s function, the manager must immediately pay the amount to the
funded ancillary provider.
(6) At the end of the manager’s appointment, the
manager must give to the funded ancillary provider any remaining amount
received under this section.
(7) Subsections (5) and (6) apply subject to
section 59.
