Queensland Consolidated ActsThere shall be a committee called the Consumer Affairs Council the functions of which shall be--
(a) to make such recommendations to the Minister as it considers necessary or desirable in the interests of consumers; and
(b) to advise the Minister on such matters affecting the interests of consumers as the Minister refers to it; and
(c) to make recommendations to the Minister for the establishment and maintenance of means by which matters that affect the interests of consumers and of persons engaged in the production, manufacture, preparation or supply of goods or services may receive adequate consideration and by which information concerning such matters and considerations may be disseminated at large.
