Recovery of costs of complying with order
110 Recovery of costs of complying with order
(1) If an order under this division is necessary because a person has
committed an offence against this Act, the costs incurred by the chief
executive in taking action reasonably necessary to comply with the order are a
debt payable by the person to the chief executive.
(2) If the person is
convicted of an offence against this Act relevant to the order, the court may,
as well as imposing a penalty for the offence, order the person to pay the
amount of the costs to the chief executive.
