(1) This section applies if,
immediately before the commencement—
(a) a person was a mature age student
of a mature age State school; and
(b) the person was an adult on the day of
enrolment at the school.
(2) Chapter 2, part 5, division 4 of the pre-amended
Act continues to apply in relation to the person while the person is enrolled
at the school as if the amending Act had not been enacted.
(3) To remove any
doubt, it is declared that subsection (2) applies whether or not the mature
age State school is a mature age State school on or after the commencement.
