Fee for distance education provided by a State school
52 Fee for distance education provided by a State school
(1) This section applies to—
(a) a person enrolled in a program of distance
education at a State school; or
(b) a person, other than a
State school student, who is enrolled to undertake a component of a program of
distance education at a State school but is not enrolled in the program at the
school.
(2) The fee prescribed under a regulation must be paid for the
provision of distance education to the person.
(3) If the fee payable under
subsection (2) for the person is not paid—
(a) the person is not entitled to
be enrolled in, or undertake, the program of distance education mentioned in
subsection (1) ; and
(b) the chief executive may cancel the person’s
enrolment.
(4) In this section—
"State school student" means a person enrolled at a State school.
