(1) Subsection (2) applies to a State instructional institution for which an
association is formed.
(2) Without derogating from the authority of the
institution’s principal in the principal’s capacity as the person in
charge of the institution, the association may exercise the authority in
relation to the institution that is consistent with the functions of an
association.
(3) An association must not exercise any authority over the
teaching staff, or over the control or management, of the State instructional
institution for which the association is formed.
