(1) For urgent matters only relating to the performance of the functions of an
association, the executive committee of the association may take any necessary
action.
(2) Despite the quorum for the association and section 129(1) , the
action may be taken by a majority vote of the executive committee.
(3)
However, the executive committee may not remove a person as a member or
officer of the association.
(4) If the executive committee acts under
subsection (1) , details of the action must be tabled at the next scheduled
general meeting of the association or at a special meeting called for that
purpose.
(5) Failure by the executive committee to comply with subsection (4)
does not affect the validity of the action.
