(1) This section applies only if the chief executive has given the proponent a
notice under section 56A(5) , including as applied by section 56AA(5) , of a
decision that the submitted EIS may proceed under this division and division 6
.
(2) The chief executive must give the proponent a report (an
"EIS assessment report" ) about the submitted EIS within 30 business days
after—
(a) if, at the end of the submission period, the chief executive has
accepted any submissions—the day the notice mentioned in subsection (1) was
given; or
(b) otherwise—the end of the submission period.
