(1) The Land Court may, of its own initiative, make orders or directions it
considers appropriate for a hearing for the objections decision (the
"objections decision hearing" ).
(2) However, the Land Court must make an
order or direction that the objections decision hearing happen at the same
time as a hearing for an application for the grant of a mining lease and any
objections to the grant under the Mineral Resources Act, section 268for the
relevant mining tenure.
