ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT 1994 - SECT 182

182 Submitter may give objection notice

(1) This section applies if the administering authority decides to approve the application or makes a decision under section 170 (2) (b) .

(2) A submitter may, by written notice (the
"objection notice" ) to the administering authority, request that its submission be taken to be an objection to the application.

(3) The objection notice must—

(a) be given to the administering authority within 20 business days after the notice under section 181 (1) is given; and

(b) state the grounds for the objection.

(4) The objection notice ceases to have effect if the objection notice is withdrawn by giving written notice to—

(a) the administering authority; and

(b) the Land Court.
