Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) A person nominated as a candidate for election may withdraw consent to the nomination by notice signed by the person and given to the commission or the returning officer, as the case requires, before noon on the cut-off day for nomination.
(2) If this happens, the nomination is of no effect.
