Power to require reasonable help
200T Power to require reasonable help
(1) The authorised officer may make a
requirement (a
"help requirement" ) of an occupier of the place or a person at the place to
give the authorised officer reasonable help to exercise a general power,
including, for example, to produce a document or to give information.
(2)
When making the help requirement, the authorised officer must warn the person
it is an offence not to comply with the requirement unless the person has a
reasonable excuse.
