Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) Under the Statutory Bodies Financial Arrangements Act 1982, an Island council is a statutory body.
(2) The Statutory Bodies Financial Arrangements Act 1982, part 2B sets out the way in which the powers under this Act of an Island council are affected by the Statutory Bodies Financial Arrangements Act 1982.
(3) The Local Government Act 1993, section 526 applies to an Island council as if it were a local government and its members were councillors of the local government.
