Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The annual financial statements of an Island council in respect of a particular year, as soon as practicable after certification by the auditor-general, must be--
(a) reproduced in the same form and content as the documents certified and must include the management and audit certificates, names of signatories and dates that certificates were signed; and
(b) tabled at the next ordinary meeting of the Island council and be made available for and remain open to inspection by persons resident in the council area during such reasonable times and at such place as are determined by the council.
(2) No annual financial statement or copy of it is to be made available to any person other than the auditor-general or person acting on his or her behalf or a councillor or officer of the council until such statement has been audited and certified.
