Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The Governor in Council may, by regulation, declare that a by-law, or a provision of a by-law, ceases to have effect, if the Governor in Council considers that it is necessary to make the declaration to protect State interests.
(2) The Governor in Council may, by regulation, later declare that the by-law or provision again has effect, if the Governor in Council considers that it is no longer necessary for the declaration under subsection (1) to continue to have effect to protect State interests.
