(1) A prisoner is only entitled to receive a visit from—
(a) a personal
visitor once a week; and
(b) a legal visitor.
(2) The chief executive may
allow the prisoner to receive extra visits, including, for example—
(a) for
a prisoner who was the primary care giver of a child—a visit from the child
to maintain the relationship with the child; or
(b) a visit from a relevant
elder or respected person to ensure appropriate levels of cultural interaction
and support.
(3) The chief executive may allow a prisoner to visit another
prisoner in another corrective services facility, subject to any conditions
the chief executive reasonably considers appropriate.
(4) The chief executive
may allow more than 1 personal visitor to visit a prisoner at the same time,
if it is within the operational limits of the corrective services facility.
