COASTAL PROTECTION AND MANAGEMENT ACT 1995 - SECT 25

(1) The functions of the regional consultative group are to--

(a) advise the Minister about the preparation of the regional plan; and

(b) make recommendations on issues, management strategies and areas requiring special coastal management to achieve ecologically sustainable development of the coastal zone covered by the plan.

(2) The regional consultative group must seek community involvement during the preparation of the plan.
