271 Uncompleted child death case reviews
(1) This section applies to a review started by the chief executive under
chapter 7A before the commencement day if, immediately before the
commencement day—
(a) the chief executive had not yet given a copy of a
report about the review to the CDCRC under previous section 246D(2); or
(b)
the chief executive had given a copy of a report about the review to the CDCRC
under previous section 246D(2) but the CDCRC had not completed its review of
the chief executive’s review and given a copy of its report about its review
to the chief executive under previous section 135 of the Commission for
Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000.
(2) The chief
executive must give the report about the review and other documents required
under section 246D to a review panel established or nominated by the Minister
to conduct a review of the chief executive’s review.
(3) In this section—
"commencement day" means the day this section commences.
