Production of identity card
153 Production of identity card
(1) An authorised officer may exercise a power under this Act in relation to
someone else (the
"other person" ) only if the officer first produces his or her identity card
for the other person’s inspection.
(2) If, for any reason, it is not
practicable to comply with subsection (1) , the officer must produce the
identity card for the other person’s inspection at the first reasonable
opportunity.
