Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) A victim should be afforded all necessary protection from violence and intimidation by a person accused of a crime against the victim.
(2) A law enforcement officer should inform a victim of the following provisions, if it would help the victim to have the benefit of the principles mentioned in subsection (1)--
(a) Bail Act 1980, section 16;
(b) Criminal Code, section 695A;
(c) Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 1978, sections 5 and 6;
(d) Evidence Act 1977, section 21A.
