Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The Legislative Assembly, on the Minister's motion, may ratify the dissolution of the local government within 14 sitting days after a copy of the instrument purporting to dissolve the local government is tabled.
(2) If the Legislative Assembly ratifies the dissolution, the local government is dissolved in accordance with the instrument from the time of ratification.
