39 Protection of officials from criminal liability
(1) An official is not criminally liable for an act done honestly and without
negligence in the performance of the official’s functions under this Act.
(2) In this section—
"official" means any of the following persons—
(a) the director;
(b) an
inspector;
(c) a public service employee assisting a person mentioned in
paragraph (b).
