CLASSIFICATION OF FILMS ACT 1991 - SECT 27

27 Advertisement to contain determined markings and consumer advice

(1) A person must not publish an advertisement for a classified film unless its determined markings and consumer advice (if any) are--

(a) contained in the advertisement; and
(b) displayed--
(i) in the way the director determines under the Commonwealth Act;14 and
(ii) so they are clearly visible, having regard to the advertisement's size and nature.

Maximum penalty--10 penalty units.

(2) If a film is reclassified, display of the determined markings and consumer advice applicable to the film before reclassification is sufficient compliance with subsection (1) for the 30 day period immediately after the reclassification takes effect.15
