Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) During the investigation of a death, a coroner may seek the help of a lawyer or other person who the coroner reasonably believes can help the coroner investigate the death.
(2) The duty of a police officer to help a coroner is stated in the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000, section 794.
