BUILDING ACT 1975 - SECT 21

(1) Building work (self-assessable building work) is declared to be self-assessable for IPA, schedule 8, part 2, table 1 if it--

(a) is prescribed under a regulation; and

(b) complies with--

(i) generally--the BCA and QDC; or

(ii) if alternative provisions under section 33 apply to the building work--

(A) the alternative provisions; and

(B) the provisions of the BCA and QDC, other than the QDC boundary clearance and site cover provisions.

(2) Subsection (1) is subject to section 37.
