ADOPTION OF CHILDREN ACT 1964 - SECT 38AB
38AB Simple adoption does not end parent-child relationship
Despite section 37A(2), a simple adoption does not end the legal relationship
between the adopted child and the individuals who were, immediately before the
adoption, the child's parents.
