ABORIGINAL LAND ACT 1991 - SECT 187

187 Amending trustee (Aboriginal) lease

(1) A document of amendment of a registered trustee (Aboriginal) lease must not—

(a) increase or decrease the area leased; or

(b) add or remove a party to the lease; or

(c) be lodged after the lease’s term has ended.

(2) In this section—


"term" , of a trustee (Aboriginal) lease, includes a period of possession under the lease because of—

(a) the renewal of the lease; or

(b) a registered document of amendment extending the term of the lease.
