167 False or misleading statements
(1) A person must not state anything to an inspector that the person knows is
false or misleading in a material particular.
Penalty—
Maximum
penalty—50 penalty units.
(2) Subsection (1) applies even if the
statement was not made in response to, or in purported compliance with, a
personal details requirement or an information requirement or another specific
requirement under a specific power.
