Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) Each indigenous council shall furnish to the Minister and shall from time to time maintain with the Minister a panel of names of at least 3 qualified persons who are justices of the peace and who are authorised by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities (Justice, Land and Other Matters) Act 1984 to enter upon, be in and reside in the trust area that is vested in or under the control of the council.
(2) The persons whose names appear in a panel furnished or maintained under this section shall not be members of an indigenous council.
