Judicial Remuneration Bill 2007
Objectives of the Amendments
The amendment will correct a technical error in Clause 6 by altering the
percentage from 112.5 percent to 113.2 percent.
Achievement of the Objectives
The Bill achieves the objective by making amendments to the legislation
below.

Notes on Provisions
Amendment 1 amends Clause 6 in the Bill to correct a technical error by
altering 112.5 percent to 113.2 percent. This preserves the current
relativity of the salary and jurisprudential allowance of the Chief Justice
against the benchmark amount for the financial year.
