Erratum to Explanatory Notes

Title of the Bill
Criminal Code and Civil Liability Amendment Bill 2007

Reasons for Erratum
It is intended that the amended section 5 of the Civil Liability Act 2003 will
disapply the Act to a decision made under that section in relation to personal
injury, only if the personal injury, or any part of it, is or was caused on or
after 6 November 2006. The final paragraph of the notes explaining clause 9
is being removed to ensure that the Explanatory Notes accurately reflect the
provisions of the Bill and Government's intention in relation to
commencement of part 3.




Notes on Provisions

Omit the last paragraph of the Explanatory Notes at page 9.
