 BREAD INDUSTRY AUTHORITY REPEAL
             BILL 1992


                       EXPLANATORY NOTES

  Clause 1 sets out the short title.
  Clause 2 provides that the Act is to commence on a day to be fixed by
proclamation.
   Clause 3 provides that the Bread Industry Authority Act 1990 is to be
repealed.
  Clause 4 provides for the transfer of property and liabilities of the Bread
Industry Authority to the State on the commencement of section 3 of the Act.
  Clause 5 provides that the Act is to expire one month after section 3 of the
Act commences.
