1. This Act may be cited as the Workplace Health and Safety Amendment 3
Act 2000. 4

2. This Act amends the Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995. 6
of s 38 (Regulations) 7
Amendment
3. Section 38-- 8
insert-- 9
`(5) A regulation may prescribe fees payable under this Act. 10
`(6) The provisions of the Workplace Health and Safety Regulation 1997 11
as made and as amended from time to time prescribing fees payable under 12
this Act are taken to be, and always to have been, as validly made as they 13
would be, or would have been, if this Act had always authorised the 14
Governor in Council to make a regulation prescribing fees payable under 15
this Act.'. 16
