The Parliament of Queensland enacts-- 1
Part 1 Preliminary 2
Clause 1 Short title 3
This Act may be cited as the TAB Queensland Limited 4
Privatisation Legislation Amendment Act 2004. 5
Clause 2 Commencement 6
(1) Part 2, other than section 5(2), commences on 5 November 7
2004. 8
(2) Section 5(2) commences on 1 January 2005. 9

This part amends the TAB Queensland Limited Privatisation 14

Clause 5 Amendment of s 44 (TABQ group companies to have 3
constitutions containing certain provisions) 4
(1) Section 44(2)(b)-- 5
omit, insert-- 6
`(b) at least 3 of the directors of the company to be ordinarily 7
resident in Queensland; and 8
(c) the chief executive officer of the company to be 9
ordinarily resident in Queensland; and 10
(d) each annual general meeting of the company to be held 11
in Queensland.'. 12
(2) Section 44(3)(c)-- 13
omit, insert-- 14
`(c) in each year, at least 4 of the company's board meetings 15
are held in Queensland; and 16
(d) each meeting of the company's board held annually for 17
the purpose of strategic planning is held in 18
