The Parliament of Queensland enacts-- 1
Clause 1 Short title 2
This Act may be cited as the Transport Operations (Road Use 3
Management--Green Vehicles Concession) Amendment Act 4

This Act amends the Transport Operations (Road Use 7
Management) Act 1995. 8
Clause 3 Amendment of s 171 (Regulation-making power) 9
Section 171-- 10
insert-- 11
`(3A) Without limiting subsection (3)(b) or the Statutory 12
Instruments Act 1992, section 25, a regulation may allow the 13
chief executive to refund registration fees completely or partly 14
or provide concessions for green vehicles.'. 15

`electric vehicle means a vehicle that uses 1 or more electric 19
motors for propulsion. 20
green vehicle means an electric vehicle or a petroleum 21
electric hybrid vehicle. 22
petroleum electric hybrid vehicle means a vehicle that uses an 23
on-board rechargeable energy storage system and a petroleum 24
power source for propulsion.'. 25
