Clause 1. This Act may be cited as the Racing and Betting Amendment Act 1997. 3

Clause 2. This Act amends the Racing and Betting Act 1980. 5

Clause 3. After section 126A-- 7

`126AA.(1) This section applies to the lease granted by the corporation to 11
the lessee under the repealed Willows Sports Complex Act 1993. 12
`(2) If asked by the lessee, the corporation may vary the term of the lease 13
to not more than 50 years. 14
`(3) This section has effect despite section 126A(2). 15
`(4) In this section-- 16
"lease" means the lease over lot 2 on RP 740697 and situated in the county 17
of Elphinstone, parish of Coonambelah, the term of which started on 18
4 January 1994. 19
"lessee" means the Willows Sports Complex Joint Board.'. 20
