Clause 1. This Act may be cited as the Liquor Amendment Act 1999. 3

Clause 2. This Act amends the Liquor Act 1992. 5
of s 9 (Ordinary trading hours) 6
Amendment
Clause 3. Section 9(3)-- 7
omit, insert-- 8
`(3) On Anzac Day, ordinary trading hours for licensed premises, 9
including premises that are a cabaret, do not include any period before 10
1 p.m. other than for sale of liquor to a person to consume on the premises 11
in association with the consumer eating a meal in a part of the premises 12
ordinarily set aside for dining if the meal is prepared, served and intended to 13
be eaten on the premises-- 14
(a) between the period between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; or 15
(b) the period between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. that the chief executive 16
approves in a particular case.'. 17
