The Parliament of Queensland enacts-- 1

This Act may be cited as the Health Practitioners Legislation 4
Amendment Act 2005. 5
Clause 2 Commencement 6
This Act commences on 1 January 2006. 7

This part amends the Health Practitioner Registration Boards 13

(a) help each board to perform its functions; and 19
(b) help the executive officer to perform his or her functions 20
and exercise his or her powers.'. 21

`(3) The executive officer may exercise a power delegated to the 6
executive officer under the Medical Practitioners Registration 7
Act 2001, section 135.1'. 8

`(2) However, the executive officer may not delegate-- 12
(a) the power to enter into a service agreement with a board; 13
