An Act to amend the Harbours Act 1955

BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with 1
the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in 2
Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows. 3

Clause1. This Act may be cited as the Harbours Amendment Act 1993. 5

Amended
The Harbours Act 1955 is amended as set out in this Act. 7
Clause2.

Insertion
Clause3. After section 184-- 9
insert-- 10
of facilities by other persons 11
`Provision
`184A. This Part does not prevent a person other than a harbour board or 12
the Queensland Sugar Corporation from-- 13
(a) providing facilities for loading sugar in bulk; or 14
(b) controlling, managing, operating and maintaining facilities for 15
loading sugar in bulk; 16
under arrangements entered into between the person and a harbour board if 17
the arrangements have been approved by the Governor in Council.'. 18
