BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with 1
the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in 2
Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows. 3

This Act may be cited as the Electoral and Administrative Review 5

The Electoral and Administrative Review Act 1989 is amended as 8

Section 2.6(1)-- 11
Clause3.(1)
omit `less than two years or'. 12
(2) After section 2.6(3)-- 13
insert-- 14
`(4) The Governor in Council may, by Gazette notice, extend the term of 15
appointment of a member of the Commission by not more than 6 months. 16
`(5) To remove any doubt, the extension of the term of a Commissioner 17
is not an appointment under this Act.'. 18
