An Act authorising the Treasurer to pay an amount from the
consolidated fund for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary
service for the financial year starting 1 July 2000

1 Short title 2
This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Parliament) Act (No. 2) 3

2 Supplementary appropriation for 20002001 based on statement 5
of unforeseen expenditure to be appropriated 6
(1) The Treasurer is authorised to pay $256 000 from the consolidated 7
fund for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service for the 8
financial year starting 1 July 2000. 9
(2) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) is appropriated for the 10
Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service for application to its 11
departmental outputs, equity adjustment and administered items for the 12
year as follows-- 13

1 Under the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977, section 22, words used in
this Act that are defined in the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 have the
same meaning the words have in that Act, subject to a contrary intention in this Act.
