An Act authorising the Treasurer to pay amounts from the
consolidated fund for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary
service for the financial years starting 1 July 2001 and 1 July 2002

The Parliament of Queensland enacts-- 1
1 Short title 2
This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2001. 3
2 Appropriation for 20012002 4
(1) The Treasurer is authorised to pay $50 383 000 from the consolidated 5
fund for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service for the 6
financial year starting 1 July 2001. 7
(2) The amount mentioned in subsection (1)-- 8
(a) is appropriated for the financial year for the Legislative 9
Assembly and parliamentary service for application to its 10
departmental outputs, equity adjustment and administered items 11
as stated in the schedule; and 12
(b) includes amounts for departmental outputs, equity adjustment 13
and administered items delivered by the Legislative Assembly 14
and parliamentary service in the financial year starting 1 July 15
2000 but for which it has not been paid in that financial year. 16
(3) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) includes the amount already 17
authorised by the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2000, section 3, to be 18
paid for the financial year starting 1 July 2001. 19
3 Supply for 20022003 20
The Treasurer is authorised to pay $25 200 000 from the consolidated 21
fund for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service for the 22
financial year starting 1 July 2002. 23
4 Repeal 24
The Appropriation (Parliament) Act 1998 (1998 Act No. 34) is repealed. 25
