An Act to appropriate certain amounts from the consolidated fund for
services of the Parliament in the financial years starting
1 July 1997 and 1 July 1998

The Parliament of Queensland enacts-- 1

Short
1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 1997. 3
for 199798 4
Supply
2.(1) The Treasurer may issue from the consolidated fund, and apply for 5
services of the Parliament in the financial year starting 1 July 1997, the sum 6
of $42 313 000. 7
(2) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) includes the amount already 8
authorised by the Appropriation (Parliament) Act (No. 2) 1996 to be issued 9
from the consolidated fund and applied for services of the Parliament in the 10
financial year starting 1 July 1997. 11

Supply
3. The Treasurer may issue from the consolidated fund, and apply for 13
services of the Parliament in the financial year starting 1 July 1998, the sum 14
of $18 336 000. 15
