SERIOUS CRIME CONTROL ACT 2009 (NO 32 OF 2009) - SECT 41

Authority for prescribed activity

    (1)     Any proceedings under another Act (including an appeal or review) relating to an authority that is suspended under section  27 are stayed while the authority is suspended.

    (2)     A suspension of an application for an authority or authority, and a stay of proceedings, is effected despite any other Act or any law, award or industrial or other agreement affecting the employment of the person holding the authority, and neither the Territory nor the regulatory authority that issues the authority incurs any liability because of the suspension or stay.

    (3)     The suspension under this Act of an application for an authority or an authority does not limit the power of a regulatory authority to reject the application or cancel or revoke the authority.
