MINERAL TITLES ACT 2010 (NO 27 OF 2010) - SECT 4
Application of Act may be affected by other legislation(1) This Act has effect subject to other Acts of the Territory and Commonwealth that may affect:
(a) rights and powers given under this Act; or
(b) obligations and functions imposed under this Act.
Examples for subsection (1)
1 The Control of Roads Act and Water Act.
2 The ALRA and NTA.
(2) This Act operates in conjunction with the Mining Management Act , which deals with the authorisation and management of exploration for, and extraction and processing of, minerals or extractive minerals to ensure the protection of the environment.
