LIVESTOCK ACT 2008 (NO 36 OF 2008) - SECT 130
Prosecutions(1) Proceedings for the prosecution of an offence against a provision of this Act must not be started more than 3 years after the occurrence of the alleged offence.
(2) A prosecution for an offence against this Act may be started only with the written consent of the Chief Inspector.
(3) Subsection (2) does not apply to a prosecution commenced by the Attorney-General or Director of Public Prosecutions.
