UNCOLLECTED GOODS REGULATIONS - REG 2

For section 9(1)(g) of the Act, the Act does not apply to the bailment, possession or custody of the following goods:

        (a)     impounded goods to which the following by-laws apply:

            (i)     Part V of the Alice Springs (Control of Public Places) By-laws ;

            (ii)     by-law 104 of the Darwin City Council By-laws ;

            (iii)     Part XII of the Jabiru Town Development (Roads and Public Places) By-laws ;

            (iv)     by-law 94 of the Katherine Town Council By-laws ;

            (v)     by-law 67 of the Palmerston (Public Places) By-laws ;

            (vi)     Part V of the Territory Parks and Wildlife Conservation By-laws ;

        (b)     uncollected, abandoned or unclaimed goods to which the following laws apply:

            (ii)     rule 81A.35 of the Supreme Court Rules ;

            (iii)     by-law 12 of the Northern Territory University (Site and Traffic) By-laws .
