Northern Territory Consolidated RegulationsFor section 29AAU of the Act, a form of certificate set out in Schedule 2 to these Regulations may be used by the person and on the occasion indicated in the following table:

May be used by a person authorised by the Commissioner to use a prescribed breath analysis instrument for the purposes of the Act after that person has performed a breath analysis using that instrument. |

2. |
May be used by a person authorised by the Commissioner to use a prescribed breath analysis instrument for the purposes of the Act after a person refuses or fails to: |
| |
(a) submit to a breath analysis as required by that authorised person; or |
| |
(b) provide, in accordance with the directions of that authorised person given for the purpose of carrying out a breath analysis using that instrument, a sample of breath sufficient for the completion of the breath analysis. |

3. |
May be used by a member of the staff of a hospital or health centre: |
| |
(a) when a sample of blood is taken from a person under section 29AAK of the Act; or |
| |
(b) when a person refuses or fails to submit to the taking of a sample of blood; or |
| |
(c) when no sample of blood is taken for a reason mentioned in section 29AAK(5) of the Act. |

5. |
May be used by an authorised analyst, or a person employed by an organisation that is an authorised analyst, after completion of analysis of a blood sample for the testing for alcohol. |
|
6. |
May be used by an authorised analyst, or a person employed by an organisation that is an authorised analyst, after completion of analysis of a blood sample for the testing for drugs. |
